Hands-on AI for SMB & Industry

AI Adoption Workshop: Half-Day Programme

Prepared for Phil Hall, Managing Director, Elevate Aircraft Seating | ai-werkers | 6 July 2026

The situation

A handful of people at Elevate are already experimenting with AI. The rest of the team isn't. That's not unusual: it's the default outcome when AI adoption is left to individual initiative instead of being led. The result: a couple of early adopters get faster, the majority stands still, and the organisation as a whole captures a fraction of what's available.

This isn't a tooling problem. It's a leadership problem. Fixing it doesn't require a big IT project: it requires getting 6 to 10 people in a room, hands-on, for half a day, until every one of them has built something they'll actually use the next working day.

Approach

A half-day, in-depth workshop for a group of 6 to 10 Elevate team members. No slideware-only session: every participant sets up their own AI workspace, runs two hands-on exercises on tasks from their own job, and leaves with a personal action plan. We don't teach "what AI is." We get people building, so adoption doesn't depend on remembering a training: it's already live in their week.

The programme is built and delivered by ai-werkers (Rick Hermanns and Bart van Slobbe), drawing on the same hands-on format used across our SMB and enterprise workshops, adapted here to Elevate's manufacturing and engineering context.

Pre-workshop: Vibecheck scan

Ahead of the session, every participant fills in a short Vibecheck scan: a few quick questions on their current AI level, what they'd like to get out of the day, and any task they'd already like to hand over to AI. It takes two minutes per person. We use the answers to tailor the hands-on exercises, so the session lands for a confident daily user and a first-timer alike, in the same room, at the same time.

Programme: half day (approx. 4 hours)

1
Setup

Personal AI workspace configured: memory, project, instructions. 15 min.

2
The AI reality

Where things actually stand today, and what it means for aircraft seating manufacturing. 30 min.

3
Your opportunities

Mapping the team's real daily tasks against proven AI use cases. Quick wins identified together. 45 min.

4
Break

15 min.

5
Hands-on exercise 1

Every participant builds their own AI setup, configured to know their role. 45 min.

6
Hands-on exercise 2

Participants build a working prompt for a task they do every week. 45 min.

7
Action plan

Team roadmap: who owns which quick win, and by when. 45 min.

8
Close & next steps

Follow-up options discussed. 15 min.

After the workshop

Adoption doesn't stop when the workshop ends, so neither do we. Every participant gets 60 days of direct WhatsApp support: questions on prompts, use cases or blockers go straight to Rick (or Bart), not into a support queue. Four weeks after the session, we get the whole group back together for a one-hour follow-up call: what stuck, what needs a nudge, and the total impact across the team so far.

Pricing applies to a group of 6 to 10 participants in a single half-day session, plus €30 per participant for the 60-day WhatsApp support (indicatively €180 to €300 for a group of 6 to 10). The follow-up call is included. Travel and accommodation costs will be confirmed once the workshop location and date are set, and invoiced separately at cost.

Open questions

  1. What date works for Elevate, and how many people will join (within the 6 to 10 range)?
  2. Where will the session take place: on-site at Elevate, or elsewhere?
  3. Are there specific recurring tasks or tools (e.g. reporting, engineering documentation, supplier communication) you'd like the hands-on exercises to focus on?
  4. Who from Elevate's leadership will join, so the session lands as a leadership signal, not just a training?

Next steps

Confirm the date and group, and ai-werkers will lock in the session, send the Vibecheck scan to each participant, and tailor the exercises to Elevate's daily work. Reach out directly to schedule: Rick, +31 6 83 87 99 04 / rick@ai-werkers.nl.
